We’ve been serving up great food for over ten years now, and are proud to have been recognised in a number of good pub guides. Our famous roast dinners are available on Sundays, and offer a range of meats and generous helpings of vegetables and sides. Our legendary Yorkshire puddings are worth the visit alone! From craft beers to fine wines

After a hundred years of pulling pints in our town, we know beer. We also love beer - and pride ourselves on offering a huge range of craft beers as well as locally produced ales. With a selection of limited edition ales available each month, we’re the perfect place to stop off for a pint. We also host beer talks and tasting sessions to share some of our expert knowledge with the local beer drinking community.

We ate here yesterday for the first time. The pub is absolutely beautiful spotlessly clean and for a Saturday afternoon it was so nice to see lots of tables full. The menu is outstanding and excellent value. Our order was taken at the table which is really nice and the service was fantastic. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The food was piping hot looked really classy on the plate and was utterly delicious. Our food was gorgeous the salt and pepper fries, and peppered steak wrap were to die for and a fish finger butty was delicious. The messy chips a real favourite of my mums we’re scrummy. The portions are really good and I can’t see anyone leaving here. Can’t recommend this place enough we will be back again soon. Thanks morning star we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we wish you every success because you deserve it.
